Vita Dr. med. Carl Christoph Goetzke

He studies medicine at the Charité Universitätsmedizin. He is funded by a MD scholarship stipend of Berlin Institute of Health since May 2015. His research project in Prof. Dr. med. Antje Beling's work group "Proteostasis and Immunobiology" at the Institute of Biochemistry of the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin focuses on the importance of the catalytic activity of individual subunits of the proteasome in viral myocarditis. In a project funded by the DZHK he studies in collaboration with Dr. Florian Leuschner the effects of nanoparticles that can specifically downregulate the function and activity of macrophages in inflammatory cardiomyopathy the effects of nanoparticles that can specifically downregulate the function and activity of macrophages. (BIH project funding to CCG , DFG VO 1602/4-1 to AV, DZHK Cooperative inititiative to AV).
