Mrs Paeschke, nee Rahnefeld, Studied medicine in Berlin from 2005 to 2012, medical thesis "function of dendritic cells in the early enterovirusmyocarditis 2008-2011. 2012-2014: postdoctoral fellow AG Beling, worked on the ubiquitin like modifier ISG15 and its protective function in chronic viral myocarditis. Further studies elaborated the involvement of the immunoproteasome in the expression of the immunoregulatory pentraxin 3 (PTX3).
Since October 2014 she is part of the Gastroenterology department Charité CBF under the leadership Prof. B. Siegmund.
